BTCo means Bankers Trust Company, in its individual capacity, and any successor corporation thereto by merger, consolidation or otherwise.
SAHRC means the South African Human Rights Commission.

Ohio Business Gateway means the online computer network system, created under section 125.30 of the Ohio Revised Code, that allows persons to electronically file business reply forms with state agencies and includes any successor electronic filing and payment system.

CST means Central Sales Tax
Mercury means elemental mercury (Hg(0), CAS No. 7439-97-6);
Pioneer or the "Company" means Pioneer Natural Resources Company and its subsidiaries.
Newco has the meaning set forth in the first paragraph of this Agreement.
GVWR means gross vehicle weight rating.
Acquisition Sub shall have the meaning set forth in the Preamble.
Parent means a “parent corporation,” whether now or hereafter existing, as defined in Section 424(e) of the Code.
MergerCo has the meaning set forth in the Preamble.
PPB is the lump sum present value of the pension benefits (whether or not vested) that would be payable under the Pension Plans in the form of a straight life annuity beginning at the earliest date permitted under the Pension Plans, computed on the basis that the Executive’s actual age at termination of employment is his attained age as of his last birthday that would occur during the Remaining Unexpired Employment Period, that his service for benefit accrual purposes under the Pension Plans is equal to the aggregate of his actual service plus the Remaining Unexpired Employment Period, that his average compensation figure used in determining his accrued benefit is equal to the highest annual rate of salary achieved by the Executive during the period of three (3) years ending immediately prior to the date of termination, that the Executive’s life expectancy at the earliest date on which payments under the Pension Plans could begin is the Assumed Life Expectancy and that the interest rate assumption used is equal to the 30-Year Treasury Rate. The Pension Severance Payment shall be made within five (5) business days after the Executive’s termination of employment and shall be in lieu of any claim to any actual increase in his accrued benefit in the Pension Plans in respect of the Remaining Unexpired Employment Period;
Comcast means Comcast Corporation, a Pennsylvania corporation.
ATC means a measure of the transfer capability remaining in the physical transmission network for further commercial activity over and above already committed uses.
Crown means the government of the United Kingdom (including the Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive Committee, the Scottish Executive and the National Assembly for Wales), including, but not limited to, government ministers and government departments and particular bodies, persons, commissions or agencies from time to time carrying out functions on its behalf;
CGS means the Connecticut General Statutes.
DTS means Days to Settlement, i.e., the number of actual days elapsed from and including the original Closing Day with respect to such Accepted Note (in the case of the first such payment with respect to such Accepted Note) or from and including the date of the next preceding payment (in the case of any subsequent delayed delivery fee payment with respect to such Accepted Note) to but excluding the date of such payment; and "PA" means Principal Amount, i.e., the principal amount of the Accepted Note for which such calculation is being made. In no case shall the Delayed Delivery Fee be less than zero. Nothing contained herein shall obligate any Purchaser to purchase any Accepted Note on any day other than the Closing Day for such Accepted Note, as the same may be rescheduled from time to time in compliance with paragraph 2B(7).
EBS means Electronic Bid Submission.
Operating Company means an “operating company” within the meaning of 29 C.F.R. §2510.3-101(c) of the Plan Asset Regulations.
First Storey means that part of a building having a floor area closest to grade with a ceiling height of more than 1.8 metres (6 ft.) above grade.
Forest means an area of land defined by the minimum values for area size, tree crown cover or an equivalent stocking level, and potential tree height at maturity at the place of growth of the trees as specified for each Member State in Annex II. It includes areas with trees, including groups of growing, young, natural trees, or plantations that have yet to reach the minimum values for tree crown cover or an equivalent stocking level or minimum tree height as specified in Annex II, including any area that normally forms part of the forest area but on which there are temporarily no trees as a result of human intervention, such as harvesting, or as a result of natural causes, but which area can be expected to revert to forest;
