A reference to a statute or statutory provision shall include all subordinate legislation made from time to time under that statute or statutory provision. Unless the context otherwise requires, any reference to European Union law that is directly applicable or directly effective in the UK at any time is a reference to it as it applies in England and Wales from time to time including as retained, amended, extended, re-enacted or otherwise given effect on or after 11pm on 31 January 2020. A reference to writing or written includes either letter or email only. Any obligation on a Party not to do something includes an obligation not to allow that thing to be done. Examples of WRES in a sentence

  • Customer agrees to return all equipment furnished under this Agreement to WRES in the same condition as delivered, subject only to normal wear and tear.

  • If Customer fails to make any payment or perform any obligation under this Agreement or becomes in any way the subject of a bankruptcy proceeding, WRES shall be under no obligation to furnish additional equipment or services to Customer until the default is cured and WRES may, without penalty, legal process or notice of any kind, immediately retake possession of all of its equipment from Customer, regardless of location.
