Works Project definition

Works Project means a part of the Works to be performed (task) by a Contractor under the Contract, the specific terms, conditions and scope of the Works Project contract being specified in a Works Project contract document.
Works Project an activity paid for with any state-appropriated funds or state funds administered by a governmental entity which consists of the construction, maintenance, repair, renovation, remodeling, or improvement of building, road, street, sewer, storm drain, water system, site development, irrigation system, reclamation project, gas or electrical distribution system, gas or electrical substation or other facility, project or portion thereof owned in whole or in part by any government entity.
Works Project means the schedule of work defined in a Work Order.

Examples of Works Project in a sentence

  • This is a Contract for a Public Works Project, subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.

  • The following definition of “Contract Documents” applies throughout this Contract for the State’s Public Works Project Number XXXXX (“Project”).
