Workplace Change definition

Workplace Change means the nature of change described in the definitions for "Consultation" or "Significant Effect(s)".
Workplace Change means major organisational change or employment policy change that will significantly affect the job security and employment conditions of employees. Significant affects include termination of employment; major changes in the composition, operation or size of the employer’s workforce and the restructuring of jobs. Where this agreement makes provision for alteration of any of these matters an alteration is deemed not to have significant affect
Workplace Change without derogating from the matters required to be considered under the Agreement, means a change to an employee’s roster or ordinary hours of work initiated by the University, or a major workplace change that is likely to have a significant effect on employees. Significant effects include: 37.1. 20.1 termination of employment;

Examples of Workplace Change in a sentence

  • Union representatives on the Plant Committee and the relevant Area Committee may request and shall receive reasonable access to Company personnel knowledgeable about any proposed Workplace Change in order to review, discuss and receive follow-up information.

  • The Plant Committee and relevant Area Committee shall be provided with the earliest practicable notification of any plan to significantly modify or change in any way machinery, equipment, controls, materials, software, work organization or any other work process that could directly or indirectly impact Employees (a Workplace Change).
