For clarity, the Workload Measures included in this Appendix: (a) provide the Agency and the Physician(s) with a tool through which to inform discussion and identify relevant information for the review of physician workload; (b) may, and are expected to, change over time; (c) do not preclude the Agency and/or the Physician(s) from considering or discussing any other workload data or workload measure(s) in the assessment of physician workload; (d) do not preclude or supersede the use of any existing or future workload models used for staffing or resource allocation; and (e) do not create any contractual obligations on the Agency or the Physician(s).
