Working suspension definition
Working suspension means a suspension where the employee is required to report to work as scheduled and is paid for hours worked. It has the same effect as a suspension for purposes of progressive discipline and is used in lieu of suspension for any violation covered by this policy.
Working suspension. - means a disciplinary action in which an employee reports to work and receives compensation, but such period will be recorded as a suspension.
Working suspension is a disciplinary action consistent with the progressive discipline step of “suspension without pay.” During a working suspension, the employee reports to work and works his or her regularly scheduled shift(s) for those days designated as “working suspension”, and the employee receives regular compensation for all hours worked.
