Wood Based Industry definition
Wood Based Industry also referred to as WBI means any industry, which processes wood as its raw material (Sawmills/veneer units/ plywood units/ pulp units/katha units/charcoal making unit/transit depots/timber depots/furniture or any other type of wood based units converting round logs); and
Wood Based Industry means any industry which processes wood as its raw material (Saw mills / Veneer / Plywood / or any other form such as sandal, Katha wood, etc)
Wood Based Industry means any industry which processes wood as its primary raw material, and includes other form such as Katha (catechu) wood, Sandalwood, Charcoal etc.

Wood Based Industry means any industry which processes wood as its raw material and includes sawmill, veneer/plywood/particle board/fibreboard mill, units manufacturing katha or kutch, wood oil, etc. but will not include furniture unit and wooden handicrafts unit as defined in Rule 2(e) and 2(t) ; and
Wood Based Industry meanss any industry or processing unit whose primary raw material is wood or wood-based product. but doesn’t include bamboo and itsproduct.
