WMBE definition

WMBE means a women-owned or minority-owned business enterprise; under these rules, the women and/or minorities owning such an enterprise must be either U.S. citizens or legal aliens with permanent residence status in the United States.

  • Supplier is prohibited from terminating or altering or changing the scope of work of a W/MBE subcontractor except upon written approval of Authority in accordance with Authority procedures relating to W/MBE terminations contained in the W/MBE Policy and Program.
