WMBE definition

WMBE means a women-owned or minority-owned business enterprise; under these rules, the women and/or minorities owning such an enterprise must be either U.S. citizens or legal aliens with permanent residence status in the United States.
WMBE is defined in Section 15.3.1.

  • Consultants should use selection methods and strategies sufficiently effective for successful WMBE participation.

  • The Plan must be responsive in the opinion of the City, which means a meaningful and successful search and commitments to include WMBE firms for subcontracting work.

  • Vendors should document WMBE status for their organization AND any such status of their affiliates (i.e. Supplier networks) involved in carrying out the activities invited.

  • Opportunities for W/MBE participation will be reviewed prior to the exercise of any renewal, extension or material amendment of this Contract to consider whether an adjustment in the W/MBE requirement is warranted.

  • Proposers should document WMBE (or other) status for both their organization and for any affiliates (e.g., supplier networks) involved in fulfilling the terms of this RFP.

  • Authority will have access to the necessary records to examine such information as may be appropriate for the purpose of investigating and determining compliance with this Article, including, but not limited to, records, records of expenditures, contracts between Company and the W/MBE participant, and other records pertaining to W/MBE participation, which Company will maintain for a minimum of three years following the end of this Contract.

  • Company will carry out applicable requirements of Authority W/MBE Policy and Program in the award and administration of this Contract.

  • The City defines WMBE firms as at least 51% (percent) owned by women and/or minority.

  • MBE means a Minority Business Enterprise.

  • MHBE means the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange.

  • WBE means Women Business Enterprise.

  • DBE means the Diocesan Board of Education for the diocese within which the Academy is situated;

  • SHCP means Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, the Borrower’s Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.

  • BEO means a written order issued by the Contractor to the Judicial Council that confirms the Judicial Council’s specific instructions and orders with respect to the Program on any one or more of the following, but does not alter any of the Agreement’s terms and conditions: (i) meeting and/or function room(s) and set-up requirements and/or rental charges; (ii) meal menus and prices and set-up requirements; and/or (iii) audio-visual equipment and set-up requirements and/or rental charges. BEO’s will be approved and signed by the Judicial Council’s representative, as set forth in Exhibit B.

  • TMDL means the total maximum daily load limitation of a parameter, representing the estimated assimilative capacity for a water body before other designated uses are adversely affected. Mathematically, it is the sum of wasteload allocations for point sources, load allocations for non-point and natural background sources, and a margin of safety.

  • SBD means Standard Bidding Documents.

  • SAIC means the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the PRC and/or its regional and local counterparts.

  • Academy means the academy named at the beginning of this Disciplinary Policy and Procedure and includes all sites upon which the academy undertaking is, from time to time, being carried out.

  • AHPRA means The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. AHPRA is responsible for regulating Australia’s registered health practitioners.

  • BPSS means the recognised standard for HMG for staff vetting which comprises verification of (1) identity, (2) employment history, (3) nationality and immigration status (including the right to work), and Criminal Records Bureau check (including a five (5) year address history check).

  • Executive Management means the CEO and the CFO for purposes of administering this Plan.

  • ITT has the meaning given to it in the recitals to this Framework Agreement;

  • EDSP means the Exchange Delivery Settlement Price and has the meaning attributed to it in Rule PPPP.5.

  • THC means tetrahydrocannabinol.

  • CFPC means the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

  • Dell means Dell Inc., a Delaware corporation.

  • Fellowship means a fellowship in a professional medical college recognized by the Board after consultation with the Medical Advisory Committee.

  • SHC means Sears Holdings Corporation.

  • PR has the meaning set forth in Section 7.4(a).

  • Participating Hospital means an Administrator Hospital that has an agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide Hospital services to participants in the Participating Provider Option program.

  • Matchmaker means an individual who is responsible for arranging individual contests of unarmed combat.

  • FIS means free into store delivery, which requires the Supplier to pay all costs and be responsible for all requirements associated with the supply and delivery of Goods to the Company at the delivery site described in the Order, including all costs associated with transport, insurances, licences, authorisations, duties and taxes.

  • Homemaker services means the professionally directed or supervised simple household maintenance or management services provided by trained homemakers or individuals to families in their own homes.

  • Colony means a hive and its equipment and appurtenances, including bees, comb, honey, pollen, and brood.
