Wireless Applications definition

Wireless Applications means terrestrial-based, land mobile, wireless telecommunications applications, including but not limited to cellular, personal communications services (PCS), wireless local loop and wireless PABX applications which are based upon and compliant with the CAI. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the terms "Wireless" and/or "Wireless Applications" shall not include (i) satellite applications (defined as any application which utilizes a direct connection between the Subscriber Unit and any satellite), and/or (ii) Cordless Telephone Applications (defined as applications not dependent on use of a switch, including but not limited to a PABX switch, for interface to the public network).

Wireless Applications means any WWAN Standard for terrestrial radio telecommunications applications to the extent licensed by QUALCOMM to Buyer.

  • LICENSEE hereby covenants that neither it nor its Affiliates will assert any of LICENSEE’s or its Affiliates rights in Technically Necessary IPR against any of QUALCOMM’s other Subscriber Unit or ASIC licensees (the “Authorized Licensees”) which (a) use any of LICENSEE’s Technically Necessary IPR to make, use and sell Subscriber Units and/or Components for Wireless Applications and (b) have agreed with QUALCOMM to a similar undertaking not to assert claims against LICENSEE and its Affiliates.

  • BVIG will use commercially reasonable efforts to consummate agreements to provide for the Wireless Distribution of the NL Wireless Applications with Carriers in the Territory.

  • To promote, market, and advertise (including, but not limited to, via Carriers) the NL Wireless Applications using NL’ s Materials.

  • Licensor will provide a “Minimum Marketing Commitment” in each year of the Term to promote, advertise and market the NL Wireless Applications as described and set forth in Exhibit C.

  • BVIG, or any third party(ies) of BVIG’s choice (for example, a Carrier), will host or otherwise provide access to the NL Wireless Applications for sublicense to end users, Carriers and/or other third parties, at BVIG’ s cost.

  • The parties agree that it is in the interest of each of the Parties and of the Wireless industry to obtain the widest possible acceptance of the final CAI Accordingly, LICENSEE agrees to negotiate in good faith to promptly grant to Authorized Licensees which do not meet the requirements of Section 7.1 a license to use all of LICENSEE's Technically Necessary IPR to make, use and sell Infrastructure Equipment and Components for Wireless Applications.

  • Both parties acknowledge that the final look and feel, creative style, functionality, and design of the NL Wireless Applications and the potential Wireless Portal are undetermined as of the Effective Date.

  • SAP Application(s) means all Packages (i.e. all Software and Third Party Software) licensed under the Agreement and/or SAP cloud services for which Customer has a valid subscription, excluding User Interfaces for ERP, SAP Technology Solutions and all database Packages.
