Winterized definition

Winterized for the Lahontan region means implementing erosion and/or sediment controls that will prevent the discharge of earthen materials from the site and the controls will remain effective throughout the rainy/snow season without requiring maintenance. The winter season may be shortened in desert areas of the region.
