Winter Vacation means the time around the holiday season that the school is closed. For the 2012-13 school year, the Winter Vacation was between December 24, 2012 to January 4, 2013.

Examples of Winter Vacation in a sentence

  • When students and classes are dismissed one (1) hour earlier than the regularly scheduled closing time on days before Thanksgiving holidays and Winter Vacation, all full-time employees will be released from duty one (1) hour earlier than their individual regularly scheduled time.

  • Professional employees on supplemental pay assignments shall not be required to perform duties on any holiday or break period recognized in the contract during Labor Day, Thanksgiving Vacation, Winter Vacation, Spring Vacation, or the vacation that includes Memorial Day unless the notice of duty clearly stated such a requirement when it was assigned.
