Members of the Bargaining Unit who have accepted an appointment as a Teaching Assistant for the ensuing Winter Session will be assigned to a specific course or other duties by August 31 if possible, and in any event no later than September 30.
If the student buys out a space for Fall Semester and space demand is high for Winter Session and/or Spring Semester, Residence Life & Housing may assign a student to that space for either or both of those terms.
For appointments of less than a full Winter Session, the same principle of semi-monthly payments shall apply on a pro rata basis.

Seniority for Inter/Summer Sessional employees shall be maintained but not accrued during the Winter Session.
