Window sill or window stool definition
Window sill or window stool means the portion of the horizontal ledge at the bottom of a window opening that protrudes into the interior of a room or the portion of the horizontal ledge on the exterior of the house adjacent to the window sash when the window is closed. For the purposes of this Part, the term window stool is synonymous with window sill.
