Whois data. “WHOIS information”, “Whois contact information”, “WHOIS query data”, “WHOIS details”, “Whois output”, “Whois record”, “Whois entry”, and variations thereof shall be interpreted to refer to registration data as referenced in this Specification.

Examples of Whois data in a sentence

  • Registrars may use Whois data from either the Registrar of Record or the relevant Registry for the purpose of verifying the authenticity of a transfer request; or from another data source as determined by a consensus policy.
