Weekly Hours definition

Weekly Hours means: • the number of ordinary weekly working hours of an employee as specified in the Agreement; or • in any other case – the number of hours specified in the Agreement as the average number of hours per working week of an employee during a pay period or other period that is reasonable in the circumstances.
Weekly Hours means, for Group 1 employees, the number of hours worked on average over a 56 calendar day period due to the rotating schedules.

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator. Must include at least one hour during the morning commute hours and one during evening commute hours, Monday through Friday. Each Peak Period cannot be longer than three hours.

  • Base Hours means the hours of work for which a staff member receives compensation. Base hours shall include overtime hours for which a staff member is paid additional or overtime compensation, and hours for which a staff member receives workers’ compensation benefits.
