Watch Item definition
Watch Item means any maintenance requirement or inspection of the Aircraft or applicable Item of Equipment following the Termination Date that results from a defect with respect to the Aircraft that was discovered during the Lease Term (and is not due to a routine inspection requirement for all aircraft of the same model as the Aircraft resulting from an Airworthiness Directive, service bulletin or Manufacturer’s recommendations) and is in addition to the maintenance and inspection requirements set forth in the MPD, and where such additional inspection shall be required prior to the later of the accumulation of (i) six thousand (6,000) Flight Hours, (ii) four thousand five hundred (4,500) Cycles, or (iii) twenty (20) months, as applicable.
Watch Item means any discrepancy requiring further inspection of the Aircraft or applicable Item of Equipment following the Termination Date, where such additional inspection shall be required prior to the later of the accumulation of (i) six thousand (6,000) Flight Hours, (ii) one thousand two hundred (1,200) Cycles, or (iii) eighteen (18) months, as applicable.
Watch Item means any special inspection generated by airframe or component condition with inspection intervals determined by original equipment manufacturers that do not coincide with routine periodic inspection intervals, Airworthiness Directives, mandatory service bulletins, service bulletins or fleet campaign directives, where such additional inspection shall be required at an interval of less than (i) a full C Check or (ii) 3,500 Flight Hours, whichever is greater.
