Conferences in which a teacher is placed on Warning Status shall be conducted in confidence.
Prior to this warning period, the intern, preceptor, and Program Director meet and agree to a plan for behavior change (Appendix H – Notification of Probationary or Warning Status).
Upon demonstration of a good faith effort to meet with the teacher by the administration, this meeting shall be considered to meet the established date requirements for placement of a teacher on Warning Status.
If a chapter fails to submit a MIRF by the deadline or fails to submit a MIRF for any misconduct that would otherwise require one, that chapter will be placed on Warning Status.
If 10% or more of the chapter has failed to complete the required trainings by the deadline that chapter will receive Warning Status.
A variety of factors will be considered in determining whether a location is hazardous, including whether the country within which the work is to be performed is under a "Travel Warning Status" as determined by the U.S. Department of State.
