Wapsi definition

Wapsi means ‘to return’ in Hindi. ‘Award Wapsi’ is a satire on ‘Ghar Wapsi’ (‘homecoming’), the phrase used by Hindu nationalists to refer to reconversion ceremonies in which they forcibly convert Muslims and other religious minorities to Hinduism.
