Vulnerable Sector definition

Vulnerable Sector or ‘VS’ shall mean a secondary search within a Police Record Check for the existence of sex offenses. The VS search applies to Applicants who would be working within a vulnerable sector, such as with minor athletes or persons with disabilities.

Examples of Vulnerable Sector in a sentence

  • I understand that if my community is served by the Ontario Provincial Police a longer process may be required for the Vulnerable Sector Search (up to three months).

  • The Operator agrees to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check for employees, as required.

  • A Teacher may request the attendance of Union representation at any meeting held for the purpose of discussing the content of a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening or an Offence Declaration.

  • The private service provider/ professional guarantees that provider of direct services has a current (within the last 12 months) and satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening.

  • The Instructor must have a valid Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening as well as Speak Out or Respect in Sport Activity Leader certification.

  • December Receipt of signed partnership agreement and a valid Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector (PRC) the Service Provider.

  • Prior to interacting with children, all students and volunteers are required to provide confirmation of a clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check (individuals 18 years of age and older), verification of up-to-date immunization, and a recent TB skin test (if required by the region).

  • Provide the City with a valid Level 3 – Vulnerable Sector Check (the “VSC”).

  • It is your responsibility to maintain a clean CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Check for the duration of your employment with A&R.

  • Children must be supervised at all times by a person with a valid Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
