Voting Time In accordance with the Ontario and Canada Election Acts, employees shall, on election day, be allowed time off for voting and shall be paid for such time.
Section 6 - Voting Time - An employee entitled to vote at a general or special election shall on the day of such election, be allowed up to two (2) hours of excused absence without pay* if needed, between the time of opening and closing the polls, provided, however, that application for such excused absence is made on the form agreed upon between the parties at least two (2) working days prior to the days of such election.

Voting Time Off In the instance where a unit member does not have sufficient time outside of working hours to vote in an official state-sanctioned election, the unit member may take off enough working time to vote.
An employee shall not be eligible for Voting Time pay should the employee’s Workday commence three (3) hours after the opening of the polls or end three (3) hours prior to the closing of the polls.
