Voluntary Sterilization definition

Voluntary Sterilization means a sterilization performed with the primary purpose of preventing future pregnancy, except that a sterilization to prevent future pregnancy, when such pregnancy should be avoided for a medical reason, is not deemed voluntary sterilization.
