VMS system definition

VMS system. : means a satellite-based vessel monitoring system installed on board Community fishing vessels in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EEC) No 2847/93;
VMS system means all of the components required to operate the VMS Signs, from the field equipment to the communication system and the control software. The existing communication of the VMS deployed on LGA roadways utilizes multimode fiber optic cables and a server on a local network separate from the Port Authority Network.
