visual quality objective definition
visual quality objective means a resource management objective established by the district manager or contained in a higher level plan that reflects the desired level of visual quality based on the physical characteristics and social concern for the area;
visual quality objective means the degree of acceptable alteration from the characteristic visual landscape, as determined by the Ministry of Forests and Range, which is used as a basis for deciding what forest harvesting and silviculture activities are recommended in an area;
visual quality objective or “VQO” has the meaning given to it in FPPR section 1. VQO spatial and attribute data is housed in the BC Geographic Warehouse.
