A non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor (VAP) is an individual who is hired to teach or provide other services for contingent circumstances with an equivalent workload assigned and determined by Management to be twenty-four (24) credits in an academic year.
An individual may be appointed as Visiting Assistant Professor, Visiting Associate Professor, or Visiting Professor, provided the individual qualifies for the rank and the appointment is for a designated term.
