Visa network definition

Visa network. The Visa payment card network that is associated with your Program Card under these Additional Terms and Conditions for Scotiabank Visa Cardmembers. your name: The name of the Primary Scene+ Cardmember, Co-Borrower (Secondary Scene+ Cardmember), or name of the business owner on a Program Card in the case of a card issued to an eligible small business.
Visa network means any communication or transaction network owned or operated by Visa, or used in connection with Visa products or services, which network is related to Visa payment products, financial transactions, or financial information, or the processing in connection therewith.

Examples of Visa network in a sentence

  • To initiate a Visa debit transaction, you may sign a receipt, provide a card number, or swipe or insert your card at a point-of-sale (POS) terminal and choose to route the transaction over a Visa network.

  • We will post transactions to your Account in U.S. dollars based on the exchange rate on the day we settle the transaction, plus any special currency exchange charges that may be imposed by us, the Visa network and/or by any third-party used to complete the transaction.

  • If a transaction is made with your Visa credit card or the card number without your permission and is either a Visa network or Interlink transaction, you will have no liability for the transaction.
