Virtual Tape definition

Virtual Tape means – a virtual logical tape volume on a physical storage device. zCloud means – means the Managed Extended Cloud IaaS service where Kyndryl provides the hardware, software and management processes upon which the MOD mainframe LPARs will operate. zCloud Baseline Charges means – the charges associated with the zCloud Contrac- tual Baseline charges as set out in Appendix B. zCloud Complex means – the mainframe Servers and the associated hardware and software, which are used to host the MOD's mainframe LPARs within the zCloud. The zCloud Complex includes, but is not limited to the mainframe Servers, FICON Direc- tors, OSA network cards, storage hardware, zCloud Software Products and tape con- trollers zCloud Contractual Baseline means – the quantity of zCloud Resource Units as- signed to the MOD utilized for calculating charges as set forth in Appendix B (zCloud Contractual Baselines).

  • Project means the goods or Services described in the Signature Document or a Work Order of this Contract.

  • Confidential Information means any information which is designated by either Party as confidential or which, by its nature is or ought to be considered as confidential (whether or not it is so marked) and includes all Personal Data, all IPRs and any information that relates to the business, affairs, developments, trade secrets, know-how, personnel, and suppliers of either Party.

  • Services means those functional services ancillary to the supply of the goods, such as transportation and any other incidental services, such as installation, commissioning, provision of technical assistance, training, catering, gardening, security, maintenance and other such obligations of the supplier covered under the contract.

  • Contractor means the Party selected to provide the goods or Services to the State under this Contract.

  • Affiliate means any Person that, directly or indirectly through one or more intermediaries, controls or is controlled by or is under common control with a Person, as such terms are used in and construed under Rule 405 under the Securities Act.
