VET Courses. Face to face study is defined as Full time (20 hours per week – 70% hours face to face and 30% hours online) Disclaimer for Fees and Charges: • Non-Tuition Enrolment Fees. Enrolment fees are fees that are associated with enrolment, such as application fees and any administration fees. They are Fees paid by the student (or third party) to Mars Institute for the cost of processing a student application. • Non- Tuition Material Fees Material fees are for materials that you will keep for use during and after your studies, for example personal protective equipment, textbooks, uniforms etc. These goods or materials will become your property and are retained by you in the event of withdrawal from the course. These materials may be made available through Mars Institute or other commercial suppliers. You have the right to purchase these goods from whichever source you choose. • Non- Tuition Resource Fees Resource fees are a mandatory charge and are paid to Mars Institute. These fees are a fixed payment that are determined by each unit of enrolment per qualification. Resources fees are charged for items that you will use during your course, for example if you are studying a building course it will be the building supplies and tools that you use. You will be advised of any increases for subsequent semesters. These charges are determined by MARS and may vary each semester during your enrolment. Mars Institute will advise when the resource fee payments are due for the future semesters according to your payment plans. Payment of your resource fees will entitle you to full access to services and facilities at any Mars Institute. This will list Tuition Fees, Non-Tuition Fees, Enrolment Fees, and Fees to access your student records. It includes fees associated with reassessment, deferral, cancellation or late payments, Overseas Student Health Insurance, ad hoc administration fees, accommodation, and assistance to apply for or hold a Student Visa. Additional costs may apply if GAP Assessments, EOI, Deferment, Re-enrolment, Individual Training Plan are required during the enrolment.
