Vesting Year definition

Vesting Year means a unit of Service credited to a Participant pursuant to Section 9.2 for purposes of determining his vested interest in his Account.
Vesting Year means, with respect to the period prior to the third anniversary of the Date of Grant, each one-year period commencing on the Date of Grant or the first or second anniversary thereof, as applicable, and ending on the next following anniversary of the Date of ▇▇▇▇▇.
Vesting Year means each calendar year in which a Participant has at least 1,000 hours of Service with the Company or an Affiliate. Except as provided for in the applicable schedule of the applicable Retirement Plan, service with a predecessor company prior to becoming an Affiliate will not be counted in calculating Vesting Years. In addition, a pro-rata portion of a year shall be counted as a partial Vesting Year in the first and last year of service to the extent such portion of the year is counted in the applicable schedule of the applicable Retirement Plan.

Examples of Vesting Year in a sentence

  • Restricted Stock Units will not vest during any Eligible Vesting Year if for six months or more during such Eligible Vesting Year (i) Participant is on a Nonstatutory Leave of Absence, and/or (ii) Participant is not a Full-Time Employee (the “Full-Time Employment Requirement”).

  • Such pro-rata portion shall equal the number of shares of Common Stock that would have become vested pursuant to Section 1.a.(i) at the end of the then-current Vesting Year multiplied by a fraction, the numerator of which is the number of days during the then-current Vesting Year prior to the date of such event, and the denominator of which is the number of days in the then-current Vesting Year.

  • For these purposes, an "Eligible Vesting Year" means the period between May 1 through the following April 30 of each year from the Vesting Commencement Date through the fifteenth (15th) anniversary of the Vesting Commencement Date.

  • Restricted Stock Units will not vest during any Eligible Vesting Year if for six months or more during such Eligible Vesting Year (i) Participant is on a Nonstatutory Leave of Absence, and/or (ii) Participant is not a Full-Time Employee ((i) and (ii), individually and collectively, being referred to as the “Full-Time Employment Requirement”).

More Definitions of Vesting Year

Vesting Year means the twelve- (12-) month period ending on each anniversary of the Grant Date. The Administrator has sole authority to determine whether and to what degree the Award has vested and is payable and to interpret the terms and conditions of this Agreement and the Plan.
