Verification Entity definition

Verification Entity means an entity that is independent of the proponent and is specifically authorized by Cal/EPA to conduct technology verifications according to the principles set forth in this document (see Section (c) below).

Examples of Verification Entity in a sentence

  • Recognition is provided to the Recognized Verification Entity to perform Verification Services for specific Profiles in a given version of the Body of Knowledge within the certification program.

  • If the Recognized Verification Entity wishes to be recognized for the revised Body of Knowledge, it would need to apply for recognition for the new version.

  • The Certification Authority will ensure that only Recognized Verification Entities who currently meet the criteria and have a valid Recognized Verification Entity agreement in place are listed in the Recognized Verification Entity register.

  • The allowable values for <Verification Entity> and <Program Name and Version> are defined in the Configuration Document.

  • This Agreement establishes the terms upon which Recognized Verification Entity will act as an independent contractor to Suppliers, but does not establish any partnership, fiduciary, employment or other relationship between The Open Group or any other Supplier and Recognized Verification Entity.

  • Recognized Verification Entity An independent organization that has met the criteria for a Recognized Verification Entity and is authorized by the Certification Authority to performVerification for the Program.
