Vendor Code definition

Vendor Code. Any Vendor who has not previously done business with the State and has not been assigned a MAGIC Vendor code should furnish a signed copy of an IRS W-9 form with the proposal. Vendors who have previously done business with the State should furnish the MAGIC Vendor code with the proposal. MAGIC Vendor Code: Or Signed W-9 Form Attached: 75. Certification of Authority to Sell The Vendor must certify Vendor is a seller in good standing, authorized to sell and able to deliver all items and related services proposed in the State of Mississippi in the time frame specified. Vendor Code means the transaction code assigned to Party B by Party A for convenience of transactions between the Parties, which will be widely used in the relevant documents and records between Party A and Party B and the internal documents and records of Party A, including, without limitation, the purchase order, receipt proof, Party B’s delivery proof, Party B’s statement for settlement, for identifying the transactions entered into between Party A and Party B hereunder. Except otherwise agreed between the Parties, all transactions incurred by Party B under this transaction code and confirmed by Party A shall be subject to the provisions of this Contract.
