Variable Part-time Employees definition

Variable Part-time Employees means Part-time employees that work fluctuating work schedules and employees who have seasonal schedules, wherein the City does not know if the employee shall qualify for eligibility for Health Coverage, under the Affordable Care Act, by averaging more than thirty (30) hours per week or more than one-hundred thirty (130) hours per month during a measurement period.

Examples of Variable Part-time Employees in a sentence

  • Regular Variable Part-time and Variable Part-time Employees may also assume Availability On- Call (AOC) or Scheduled On-Call (SOC) above the variable scheduled FTE component and would then be paid at rates determined by the current contract language.
