As part of the Validation Study, the Owner and Risk/Reward Team members will conduct the Joint Site Investigation at or concerning the Project site to review all existing site information; perform investigations and surveys; document all site-related information needed to design and construct the Project; verify existing conditions within the Project site, including all points of connection; location of all utilities; and the accuracy of existing surveys and other documentation provided by the Owner.
The Validation Study together with Target Value Design will define the Base Program, Target Cost, and the Milestone Schedule.
During the Validation Phase, the IPD Team, under the direction of the PMT, will prepare a Validation Study that defines the Base Program, Target Cost, and a Milestone Schedule for approval and acceptance by the Owner.
