Validation Authority definition

Validation Authority means an entity trusted by the users of the certification services which provides information about the revocation status of the certificates issued by the ESCB-PKI Certification Authority.
Validation Authority. : means a function of a CA, whereby the status of a Certificate is determined and made available to a parties that rely on that Certificate.

Examples of Validation Authority in a sentence

  • Licensor grants to the DOD permission to reproduce and distribute a copy of the Validation Authority (hereafter "licensed software") on the SHB to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for hosting, distribution to and access and use by DOD Component agencies and the Services (e.g. Enrolled Affiliates) who have an active license to use the licensed software.
