UW Data definition

UW Data means any data entered or uploaded to the Software as a Service (SaaS) (as defined herein) or otherwise supplied to Contractor by UW; any software and its related documentation, from whatever source, supplied by UW to Contractor in connection with this Rider; and any information stored or processed by the SaaS, including metadata. With the exception of any applicable third party rights, UW shall exclusively own all rights, title and interest in UW Data, including all copyrights and any other IP Rights. Nothing in this Rider shall be construed as conveying any rights or interest in UW Data to Contractor.

  • If, during the course of the performance, administration, or maintenance of this contract, or any extension or renewal thereof, Contractor acquires, uses, or otherwise obtains access to “University Data” or “Confidential Data” as those terms are defined in the UW Data Security and Privacy Agreement1, incorporated herein, then the UW and Contractor agree that all of the terms and conditions of the UW’s Data Security and Privacy Agreement shall apply.
