Utility Standards definition

Utility Standards means the standard specifications, standards of practice, and construction methods that are applicable to a Relocation pursuant to the terms and conditions of a Utility Agreement; provided that if a particular facility is not governed by a Utility Agreement or the applicable Utility Agreement does not specify applicable standards, the term “Utility Standards” shall mean the standard specifications, standards of practice, and construction methods that would be customarily applied by a similar utility owner to its facilities, in effect as of the Bid Date.
Utility Standards means the latest edition of Utility's written standards that are in effect as of the Effective Date, as the same may be modified from time to time thereafter, but only to the extent that such modifications do not result in Betterments pursuant to Section 2.5.
Utility Standards means the standard specifications, standards of practice, and construction methods that a Utility Owner customarily applies to facilities constructed by the Utility Owner (or for the Utility Owner by its contractors) at its own expense and that are comparable to the utilities subject to Relocation for the Project. Such Utility Standards may or may not all be incorporated into documents issued by the Utility Owner, and shall include those processes, procedures, policies and practices that are industry-standard in Southern California for each particular type of Utility. For any Utility Owner that is also a Governmental Entity, its Utility Standards shall include all such requirements that are imposed by any Applicable Law issued by such Utility Owner.

Examples of Utility Standards in a sentence

  • Seller shall ensure that (i) the Metering Facilities are maintained and operated in accordance with Prudent Utility Standards, and (ii) the Meters are tested at least once per Contract Year, Seller’s obligation with respect to clauses (i) and (ii) will be limited to enforcing its rights and remedies under the Interconnection Agreement.

  • Seller shall keep complete and accurate records necessary for the purposes of proper administration of this Agreement, including all records necessary for billing and payments, records of the Charging Energy and Discharging Energy and such other records as may be required by applicable Governmental Authorities or Prudent Utility Standards.

  • Buyer shall schedule the Charging Energy in a manner consistent with the requirements of Schedule II, Prudent Utility Standards and Applicable Law.

  • Seller shall design, develop, finance, construct, own, operate, and maintain the Project in accordance with this Agreement, the Interconnection Agreement, Applicable Law, Permits, and Prudent Utility Standards.

  • Owner shall construct all Onsite and Offsite Facilities in compliance with (a) this Article 3; (b) the City Utility Standards; and (c) the rules and regulations of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, or its successor agencies.

  • Seller does not currently own any asset necessary for PGE to be able after the Closing to develop, construct, own, operate or maintain the Project in accordance with Prudent Utility Standards, except such assets that are (or by the Closing, will be) included in the Project Assets.

  • Owner shall construct all Onsite Facilities in compliance with (a) this Article 4; (b) the City Utility Standards; and (c) the rules and regulations of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, or its successor agencies.

  • All Utility Standards shall be applied to the Rearrangements hereunder in the same manner as they are applied by Utility to projects that are (a) financed primarily by.

  • The Applicant shall perform any construction activities (including any construction activities affecting the Facilities) (the “Work”) in substantial conformance with the Plans and in accordance with the requirements of the Authority’s Utility Standards Manual.

  • Facility that may be constructed or provided under the terms of this Agreement as a consequence of the Rearrangement of a Conflicting Facility or portion thereof and which meets applicable Utility Standards (including any 13etteiinents which the Parties agree to incorporate therein).

Related to Utility Standards

  • Reliability Standards means the criteria, standards, rules and requirements relating to reliability established by a Standards Authority.

  • NERC Reliability Standards means the most recent version of those reliability standards applicable to the Generating Facility, or to the Generator Owner or the Generator Operator with respect to the Generating Facility, that are adopted by the NERC and approved by the applicable regulatory authorities, which are available at ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/files/Reliability_Standards_Complete_Set.pdf, or any successor thereto.

  • Reliability Standard means a requirement to provide for reliable operation of the bulk power system, including without limiting the foregoing requirements for the operation of existing bulk power system facilities, including cybersecurity protection, and the design of planned additions or modifications to such facilities to the extent necessary for reliable operation of the bulk power system, but shall not include any requirement to enlarge bulk power system facilities or to construct new transmission capacity or generation capacity.

  • Accessibility Standards means accessibility standards and specifications for Texas agency and institution of higher education websites and EIR set forth in 1 TAC Chapter 206 and/or Chapter 213.

  • Quality Standards means the quality standards published by BSI British Standards, the National Standards Body of the United Kingdom, the International Organisation for Standardisation or other reputable or equivalent body, (and their successor bodies) that a skilled and experienced operator in the same type of industry or business sector as the Contractor would reasonably and ordinarily be expected to comply with, and as may be further detailed in the Specification.
