Utility Software definition

Utility Software means that certain software owned by or licensed to IPS or its Affiliates used in the Business, together with the documentation (if any) relating thereto as described in Exhibit A.
Utility Software means the software tool set currently developed by Licensor that may be from time to time further enhanced, modified and/or supplemented by Licensor during the course of this Agreement.
Utility Software means Software provided to You by Quest that You install on Your computers to establish communication with the Software provided as part of the Services or to facilitate the implementation and use of the Services.

Examples of Utility Software in a sentence

  • Vector reserves all intellectual, industrial and all other proprietary rights to such Utility Software.

  • Vector provides this Utility Software free of charge to the Customer for own use only.

  • The Customer may not modify, extend, reproduce or distribute such Utility Software.

  • Except as contemplated by Section 5(a), IPS shall have no responsibility to update, maintain or support the Utility Software.

  • List and/or describe here the hardware devices, operating system software, and network infrastructures on which the proposed system must operate, such as: CPU, Operating System/System Utility Software, Disk, Workstations, Teleprocessing Monitor, Networking Protocols, etc.


More Definitions of Utility Software

Utility Software means computer programs that execute on System Software to provide generic services to Application Software, or to end users. Utility Software includes, but is not limited to, computer language compilers, linkage editors, file sorts and merges, source code editors, file copy programs, database management programs, and report generators.

Related to Utility Software

  • Standard Software means Software identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Standard Software.

  • Company Software means Software owned or purported to be owned by or developed by or for the Company or any Company Subsidiary.

  • Supplier Software means software which is proprietary to the Supplier and software which is or will be used by the Supplier for the purposes of providing the Placement Services;

  • Embedded Software means one or more software applications which permanently reside on a computing device.
