Using Governmental Unit definition

Using Governmental Unit means all South Carolina Public Procurement Units [11-35- 4610(5)] eligible to purchase under this contract.

Examples of Using Governmental Unit in a sentence

  • No Using Governmental Unit shall be responsible for any other Using Governmental Unit’s act or failure to act.

  • Any insurance or self-insurance maintained by the State, every applicable Using Governmental Unit, or the officers, officials, employees and volunteers of any of them, shall be excess of the Contractor’s insurance and shall not contribute with it.

  • Contractor agrees to obtain any endorsement that may be necessary to effect this waiver of subrogation, but this provision applies regardless of whether or not the State or Using Governmental Unit has received a waiver of subrogation endorsement from the insurer.

  • Any insurance or self-insurance maintained by the State, every applicable Using Governmental Unit, or the officers, officials, employees and volunteers of any of them, shall be excess of the Contractor's insurance and shall not contribute with it.

  • After award, all deliveries shall be made and all services provided to the location specified by the Using Governmental Unit in its purchase order.

  • In the event the Contractor enters into proceedings relating to bankruptcy, whether voluntary or involuntary, the Contractor agrees to furnish written notification of the bankruptcy to the Using Governmental Unit.

  • No Using Governmental Unit shall be responsible for any other Using Governmental Unit's act or failure to act.

  • For individual orders totaling less than $ 100.00, contractor shall ship these orders prepaid, add the shipping charges to the invoice as a separate charge and include in the invoice total for payment by Using Governmental Unit.

  • If the Contract is not in effect, notice must be given directly to Using Governmental Unit.

  • Any of the Contractor’s Obligations may be compromised, settled, released, discharged, renewed, extended, altered, waived, exchanged, modified, substituted, or otherwise dealt with in such a manner as Using Governmental Unit sees fit and such action shall not affect Guarantor’s liability.

Related to Using Governmental Unit

  • Local governmental unit means a county, city, village, or township.

  • Governmental unit means a governmental unit as defined in section 101(27) of the Bankruptcy Code.

  • Qualified local governmental unit means that term as defined in the obsolete property rehabilitation act, 2000 PA 146, MCL 125.2781 to 125.2797.
