Unsubstantiated/unfounded definition

Unsubstantiated/unfounded means the allegation is unfounded. "Unfounded" means the evidence supports a finding that the alleged incident did not or could not have occurred.

  • Unsubstantiated means the same as that term is defined in Section 62A-4a-101.

  • Unfounded means available information indicates that, more likely than not, child abuse or neglect did not occur.
