University Study definition

University Study refers to an IEP program that allows visiting non-matriculated international students to take university courses for academic credit on a space available basis. Students can enroll in undergraduate courses for up to 12 credit units per semester. Students must have demonstrated English language proficiency by achieving a TOEFL score of 500 PB/ 173 CB/61 IB or an IELTS score of 6.0.

Examples of University Study in a sentence

  • Student may request an Academic Exception in the following instances: (i) Student is scheduled to graduate during the Term, (ii) Student is enrolled in a University Study Abroad Program during the Term, or (iii) Student is enrolled in a For-Credit Internship which requires daily travel further than 45 miles from the Residence Hall during the Term.

  • The University Study Leave Committee shall consider the application using the same academic rigour as would be used in reviewing any University of Winnipeg application for research leave.

  • By November 15th, the University Study Leave Committee shall forward its recommendation, together with the application and research proposal, to the ▇▇▇▇.

  • By October 15th, the Collegiate research leave committee shall forward its comments or recommendation, together with the application and research proposal, to the University Study Leave Committee, for consideration.

  • Upon deletion from the matriculation register the Student shall reimburse the study costs on the basis of University Study Regulations.

  • The MBGA for higher education courses includes funding for bachelor places, allocated as a result of the Provider’s partnership with the Regional University Study Hub/s in Table 1c, and must only be used for students being supported by a Hub.

  • The student’s nominal period of studies may be extended in cases established by Tallinn University Study Regulations.

  • The University shall have the right not to provide study services and delete the Student from the matriculation register in the case where the Student acts in conflict with good academic practice and generally accepted codes of conduct and/or fails to fulfil the obligations arising from Higher Education Act, University Statute, University Study Regulations and other legislation and agreements in force.

  • Resident is part of a University Study Abroad, National Student Exchange program.
