Universal Membership definition

Universal Membership in the Institute is open to all lawful corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships and business practitioners, regardless of their primary function, including but not limited to companies whose primary function is the manufacturing and marketing of consumer goods and services sold at retail, P-O-P manufacturers, advertising and marketing agencies, consultants, retailers, students, academic professionals, suppliers to the trade and other types of companies. Universal Membership allows for corporate-wide access for all employees through Member’s intranet. Universal Membership benefits include: 24/7 intranet access to the Members Only section of the Institute website, applicable Member discounts on Institute educational and trade events (for all employees of applicant business or corporation), a minimum of twenty (20) free domestic subscriptions to Shopper Marketing magazine; monthly E-newsletters as well as all other Member benefits for a period of one year. Employees of Member’s parent, sister or subsidiary companies operating under a different name are not eligible and must apply for a separate Membership. (See Corporate Subsidiary Membership.)

Related to Universal Membership

  • Panel Member ’ means a member of a panel;
