Unit Heat Rate definition

Unit Heat Rate means the Btu of fuel per kilowatt hour of gross generation.
Unit Heat Rate means, with respect to a Unit, the ratio of the rate of fuel energy conversion based upon higher heating value fuel to electrical energy output at the high side of the main transformer.
Unit Heat Rate means in relation to a Generating Unit, the factor (in GJ/kWh) used to calculate the Nominal Fuel Price for the Generating Unit as agreed or determined under paragraph 2.3 and Section 2 of Schedule 5;

Examples of Unit Heat Rate in a sentence

  • The Net Unit Heat Rate Test results will be considered the numerical average of the consistent individual tests for each condition.

  • The Avoided Unit Energy Cost, in cents per kilowatt - hour (¢/kWh) shall be defined as the product of (a) the Avoided Unit Fuel Cost and (b) the Avoided Unit Heat Rate; plus (c) the Avoided Unit Variable O&M.

  • During the Unit Heat Rate Test, a minimum of three (3) gas fuel samples per hour shall be taken for chromatographic analysis as per ASTM D 1945.

  • Unit Power Output (for both the Unit Power Output Test, and the Maximum Unit Power Output Test) and Unit Heat Rate for each Unit shall be the average of results from the four one-hour test periods.

  • Contractor and Owner shall document the adjusted Net Unit Capacity Guarantees and Net Unit Heat Rate Guarantees in writing, which shall be signed by duly authorized representatives of both such Parties.

  • A test result for Unit Heat Rate that is within plus or minus 1.0 percent of the applicable guaranteed Unit Net Heat Rate as set out in Section 6 of the Second Schedule (Operating Parameters) shall be deemed to indicate exact compliance with such guaranteed Unit Net Heat Rate.

  • Adjusted Net Mortgage Interest Rate As to each Mortgage Loan and at any time, the per annum rate equal to the Mortgage Interest Rate less the Expense Fee Rate.

  • Prime Interest Rate means the publicly quoted variable annual basic rate of interest, published from time to time by the bankers of FUNDI as being their prime rate and as certified by the auditors of FUNDI, whose appointment it shall not be necessary to prove. Details of such bankers will be provided to the Applicant when so requested in writing.
