Unified Solution definition

Unified Solution. A “unified solution” means a software product licensed to you by or on behalf of Licensor which: includes the software licensed under this agreement, adds significant and primary functionality to such software, and may include software acquired from a third party. A unified solution includes any additional functionality, modules, or other applications that are part of or that interoperate with or otherwise use such software, whether directly or indirectly through the unified solution and are distributed at the same time with the initial unified solution. However, a unified solution does not include any additional functionality, modules, or other applications that are part of or that interoperate with or otherwise use such software, whether directly or indirectly through the unified solution and are distributed at a different time from the initial unified solution.

Unified Solution means an integrated product offering, such as IP Office Customer Management-powered by MS CRM, or any other offer comprising of an Avaya Product, the Middleware and all or part of Microsoft CRM, wherein the Avaya Product, the Middleware and the Microsoft CRM are sold or licensed (as applicable) together and are intended to be connected to operate as a bundled solution (and not on a stand-alone basis).

Examples of Unified Solution in a sentence

  • The software may not be used either (i) to develop any new software applications, (ii) in conjunction with any software applications, databases or tables other than those contained in the Unified Solution, and/or (iii) as a standalone software application.

  • A CAL permits you to access instances of only the Runtime-Restricted User version of the server software licensed and delivered to you as part of the Unified Solution, in accordance with the other terms of the agreement.

  • If you transfer the software to another device, that other device becomes the “licensed device.” You may also transfer the software to a device owned by someone else if (i) you are the first licensed user of the software, (ii) the new user agrees to the terms of this agreement, and (iii) the transfer of the software and the license is part of a transfer of the Unified Solution delivered to you by or on behalf of the licensor solely as part of the Unified Solution.

  • If you acquired a Runtime-Restricted Use Edition license, then the software also must be transferred as part of a transfer of the integrated software turnkey application or suite of applications (the “Unified Solution”) delivered to you by or on behalf of the Licensor solely as part of the Unified Solution.
