under manager means a person appointed to be under manager pursuant to subsection (5) of section nineteen of this Act;
under manager or “assistant manager” means a person possessing a Manager‟s certificate, who is appointed in writing by the owner, agent or manager to assist the manager in the control, management and direction of the mine or part thereof, and who takes rank immediately below the manager, and is thus superior to an overman and a sirdar;
under manager means a person who possesses the prescribed qualification and experience and appointed in writing by the owner, agent or manager to be incharge of the whole of the underground or surface workings or a specified portion thereof under the direction of the manager and is thus superior to a mine foreman, supervisors and a mining mate;

  • Assets Under Management means, as of any specified date, the value of all Assets owned by the Partnership (the value to be determined as provided in this Agreement), including contributions requested and due from Partners and uncalled amounts of Commitments that are included in the Partnership’s regulatory capital (as such term is used in the SBIC Act), less the amount of any liabilities of the Partnership, determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, consistently applied.
