Under-Housed definition

Under-Housed means a household that does not occupy the largest unit within the allowable range of the Occupancy Standards.
Under-Housed means a Tenant of a TteS Administered home who occupies a unit that is too small for the Tenant’s registered household composition in accordance with NOS.

  • Rooming house means a residence where persons may rent rooms.

  • Emergency housing means temporary indoor accommodations for individuals or families who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless that is intended to address the basic health, food, clothing, and personal hygiene needs of individuals or families. Emergency housing may or may not require occupants to enter into a lease or an occupancy agreement.
