Undefinitized contract action (UCA) definition

Undefinitized contract action (UCA) means a unilateral or bilateral contract modification or delivery/task order in which the final price or estimated cost and fee have not been negotiated and mutually agreed to by NASA and the contractor. (Issuance of letter contracts and their modifications are governed by subpart 1816.6.)

Undefinitized contract action (UCA) means a unilateral or bilateral contract modification, or a delivery/task order in which the final price or estimated cost and fee have not been negotiated and mutually agreed to by NASA and the contractor. For purposes of tracking definitization schedules of UCAs, letter contracts are considered to be UCAs and will be tracked as such by the Headquarters Office of Procurement, Procurement Strategic Operations Division. Otherwise, the specific requirements, policies, and procedures for letter contracts are in FAR 16.603 and NFS 1816.603.

  • Capitalized Interest Account The separate Eligible Account designated as such and created and maintained by the Trustee pursuant to Section 3.05(h) hereof. The Capitalized Interest Account shall be treated as an "outside reserve fund" under applicable Treasury regulations and shall not be part of any REMIC. Except as provided in Section 3.05(h) hereof, any investment earnings on the amounts on deposit in the Capitalized Interest Account shall be treated as owned by the Depositor and will be taxable to the Depositor.
