Uncompensated definition

Uncompensated means that the student receives no monetary compensation or academic credit for work done to satisfy the pro bono requirement. To ensure that work credited toward the pro bono requirement is distinguished from work receiving compensation or academic credit, the following rules will apply:
Uncompensated means that the student receives neither monetary nor academic compensation for work done in satisfaction of the public service requirement.
Uncompensated means that the student receives neither monetary compensation nor academic or writing credit. The mandatory pro bono service requirement is a separate JD graduation requirement at CLS. To assure that work credited toward the pro bono service requirement is appropriately distinguished from work receiving compensation or credit, the following rules apply:

Examples of Uncompensated in a sentence

  • Uncompensated leave may continue for up to one (1) year following the birth of the child.

  • Uncompensated leave may be granted for any reason, with the exception of taking another K-12 full or part-time teaching position within San Diego County.

  • Uncompensated effort is defined as hours provided by personnel in excess of 40 hours per week without additional compensation for such excess work.

  • For this reason, DSRIP payments shall not be considered patient care revenue for purposes of offsetting allowable uncompensated care costs under the Safety Net Care Pool Uncompensated Care Cost Limit Protocol under demonstration authority.

  • Extraordinary Uncompensated Leaves: Leaves may be granted for such reasons as continuing poor health or disability, maternity and child care, accepting public office for limited time, or other personal reasons.

  • DSRIP payments are incentive payments and are therefore not subject to the Safety Net Care Pool Uncompensated Care Cost Limit Protocol.
