Unannounced means that the TPA is required to provide only as much notice to the vessel as may be required by local port or other regulatory requirements, if any, but recognizing that advance coordination will be required with CARNIVAL’s shore-side personnel in order to determine if there is cabin space available to accommodate the TPA and to otherwise make arrangements for the TPA to board the vessel. A lack of available cabin space to accommodate the TPA shall not be deemed a violation of CARNIVAL’s obligations under this ECP if evidence is provided that no berthing space is available.

Examples of Unannounced in a sentence

  • Unannounced on-site visits may be made without any advance notification and may occur at any time.

  • Unannounced on-site visits may be conducted at random or for cause.

  • Unannounced on-site visits may also be conducted in conjunction with the Department’s formal abuse, neglect, and exploitation investigations.
