UC refers to The Regents of the University of California, a corporation described in California Constitution Art. IX, Sec. 9, on behalf of the UC Locations identified in the Agreement and/or the PO. UC and Supplier individually will be referred to as “Party” and collectively as “Parties.” Any defined terms not defined in these Terms and Conditions of Purchase will have the meaning ascribed to such term in any of the other documents incorporated in and constituting the Agreement. No other terms or conditions will be binding upon the Parties unless accepted by them in writing. Written acceptance or shipment of all or any portion of the Goods, or the performance of all or any portion of the Services, covered by the Agreement, will constitute Supplier’s unqualified acceptance of all of the Agreement’s terms and conditions. The terms of any proposal referred to in the Agreement are included and made a part of the Agreement only to the extent the proposal specifies the Goods and/or Services ordered, the price therefor, and the delivery thereof, and then only to the extent that such terms are consistent with the terms and conditions of the Agreement.
Halogen means one of the chemical elements chlorine, bromine or iodine.
LSD means lysergic acid diethylamide.
TMDL means the total maximum daily load limitation of a parameter, representing the estimated assimilative capacity for a water body before other designated uses are adversely affected. Mathematically, it is the sum of wasteload allocations for point sources, load allocations for non-point and natural background sources, and a margin of safety.
SDSL or "Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line" is a baseband DSL transmission technology that permits the bi-directional transmission from up to 160 kbps to 2.048 Mbps on a single pair. "VDSL" or "Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line" is a baseband DSL transmission technology that permits the transmission of up to 52 Mbps downstream (from the Central Office to the End User Customer) and up to 2.3 Mbps digital signal upstream (from the End User Customer to the Central Office). VDSL can also be 26 Mbps symmetrical, or other combination.
Enamel means a coat of colored material, usually opaque, that is applied as a protective topcoat over a basecoat, primer, or a previously applied enamel coat. In some cases, another finishing material may be applied as a topcoat over the enamel.
BOC means the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, an unincorporated association comprised of the Major League Clubs who are party to the Major League Constitution, and any successor organization thereto.
PSI means pounds per square inch.
RSSB means Rail Safety and Standards Board Limited (a company limited by guarantee and registered in England and Wales under number 04655675), and its successors and assigns.
Alloy means a metal consisting of a mixture of a basic metallic element and one or more metallic, or non-metallic, alloying elements.
Flashing light means a light flashing at regular intervals at a frequency of 120 flashes or more per minute.
SOQ means Statement of Qualifications.
IRDAI means the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.
CTI means CTI Logistics Limited (ABN 69 008 778 925) and/or any Affiliate of CTI Logistics Limited as the case may be, which performs all or any of the Services.
OSIPM means "Oregon Supplemental Income Program-Medical".
TTC means telemetry, tracking and control.
OEHHA in the amount of $1,500; and (2) “Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx” in the amount of $500.
HDPE means high density polyethylene;
We/Us/Our means TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited.
EG means the Enforcement Guide;
STC means the Special Terms and Conditions of Contract.
AMC means Annual Maintenance Contract
MVAR means megavolt ampere of reactive power.
MGD means million gallons per day. "mg/l" means milligrams per liter. "ug/l" means micrograms per liter. "ng/l" means nanograms per liter. "S.U." means standard pH unit. "kg/day" means kilograms per day.
IOC means the International Olympic Committee;
EPG means electronic program guide maintained by a DPO on its Digital Distribution Platform which lists the television channels and programs, and scheduling and programming information therein and includes any enhanced electronic guide that allows Subscribers to navigate and select such available channels and programs.
