Examples of UEO in a sentence

  • The grievant shall have thirty (30) business days from the date when the first events or pattern of events on which the grievance is based should reasonably have been discovered, to file a written grievance with the assistant’s UEO.

  • In the event the grievance is not resolved in Level 1, the decision rendered may be appealed to the ▇▇▇▇ of the College in which the assistant is appointed (or Executive Officer to whom the UEO reports), provided such appeal is made in writing within ten (10) business days after receipt of the decision in Level 1.

  • Following the Level 1 grievance meeting, the UEO or designee shall give a written decision on the grievance to the grievant and the Union within ten (10) business days of the meeting.

  • If the Union and Employer (the parties) both agree in writing, the parties may elect not to have a meeting, and the UEO or designee shall give a written decision on the grievance to the grievant and the Union within ten (10) business days of the decision to not hold a meeting.

  • Within 10 business days, the UEO or designee shall confirm receipt of the grievance and will schedule a time to meet as soon as practical with the grievant(s) and their Union representative (if so desired).

  • An assistant may appeal the department supervisor’s final determination in writing to the Unit Executive Officer (UEO) within five (5) calendar days of the determination.

  • The UEO will review the department supervisor’s determination and issue a letter to the assistant either agreeing with, modifying or reversing the determination within five (5) calendar days of the appeal.

  • The bargaining unit member is encouraged to work with the UEO to devise appropriate teaching coverage or alternative instructional adjustments.

  • If a UEO substantively amends the duties of the bargaining unit member over the course of the appointment, the adjustment will be clearly documented to the bargaining unit member.

  • Any substantive changes related to workloads shall first be discussed between the Unit Executive Officer (UEO) and/or designee and the bargaining unit member.
