UAS Operator, definition

UAS Operator, in this policy, means a person operating a UAS. If there is no RPIC, the UAS Operator is the person in charge and responsible for the safe conduct of the flight.
UAS Operator, means any legal or natural person, operating or intending to operate one or more UAS;
UAS Operator, means any natural or legal person who operates or intends to operate a UAS for recreational or other than recreational purposes, including commercial purposes;

Examples of UAS Operator, in a sentence

  • The required operator certifications include possessing a current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Remote Pilot Certificate, a NC UAS Operator Permit as well as operating a UAS registered with the FAA.

  • Prior to sharing any LAANC Data, must receive authorization from the UAS Operator providing the LAANC Data to be shared, regardless of the associated purpose such LAANC Data is to be shared, and the entity or person receiving such LAANC Data.

  • Information becomes “LAANC Data” when the UAS Operator provides the information that is entered into the functions defined in the USS-FAA LAANC ICD, to , with the intent that such information be used for LAANC authorizations; or when receives the information that is entered into the functions defined in the USS-FAA LAANC ICD from a third party, and subsequently the information is affirmatively validated by the UAS Operator, with the intent that such information be used for LAANC authorizations.

  • Use the ICD to provide d-flight operational servers with intentionally false NRI records or record data elements and/or tracks not related to the airborne UAS fleet under the Licensee UAS Operator responsibility.

Related to UAS Operator,

  • train operator means any person who is authorised to act as the operator of a train by a licence under section 8 of the Railways Act 1993.

  • Non-Operator means a Party other than the Operator;

  • Terminal operator means a person who owns, operates, or otherwise controls a terminal.

  • Operator means the operator of an internet website, online service, online application, or mobile application with actual knowledge that the site, service, or application is used for K–12 school purposes. Any entity that operates an internet website, online service, online application, or mobile application that has entered into a signed, written agreement with an LEA to provide a service to that LEA shall be considered an “operator” for the purposes of this section.

  • tour operator means, with the exception of an air carrier, an organiser within the meaning of Article 2, point 2, of Council Directive 90/314/EEC of 13 June 1990 on package travel, package holidays and package tours (2);
